Eugene’s Window Tint Experts
Reduces heat inside your car, keeping it cooler and more comfortable.
Why Eugene Residents Need Window Tint
Window tinting is a great way to add privacy to your car, keep your interior cooler by reducing heat that gets in, and prevent shattered glass from falling inside your vehicle (hopefully that’s not ever needed). Ceramic film is the best choice due to its superior heat rejection capabilities. Our professional tint installers in Eugene provide exceptional service to ensure your tint won’t peel, bubble, or fade over time.
We also offer a ceramic coating service that makes your paint shine and keeps it protected for many years. If you want the ultimate form of protection, we also provide paint protection film (PPF).

The Good as New Detailing Window Tint Process
Installing window tint on a car is a detailed process to ensure a clean, quality end-result. Each car we tint will be slightly different depending on the condition. Here’s a general overview of the process:
Remove existing film: First, if you already have existing tint, we’d have to remove it and clean off any adhesive left over. This can sometimes take hours depending on the condition of the film. If it’s brand-new, it should be straightforward. If it’s been there for 12 years and it’s cracking, that will take much longer.
Prep the glass: Now we have to thoroughly clean the glass to ensure there’s no leftover glue, debris, or anything else that can get between the film and glass. This is an important step because anything we leave over will be seen after we install the tint.
Cut and shrink the film: Next it’s time to cut out the film for your window, we’ll either do this with a plotter or sometimes by hand, and then shrink the film to make sure it lays flat on the glass during installation.
Install the film: Then it’s on to the main part where we’ll meticulously install the film making sure no debris gets behind and the fitment is spot on. This is a lot easier said than done depending on the window we’re working.
Inspect the results: Now we’ll do an inspection of all the windows to check our work and make sure we’re delivering quality results. If we see the fitment is off or there’s debris behind the film, we’d peel it off and do it again.
Tint can really enhance your vehicle’s appearance. It’ll give it a more sleek look that many customers enjoy. Other services we offer that go great with this is an exterior detail.
Common Myths About Window Tinting
The tint goes on the outside: We hear this quite often where people think the tint goes on the outside. It does not. We install the film on the inside of your vehicle. However, when we’re prepping the tint, we sometimes put the film on the exterior of your vehicle to shrink it.
It’s hard to see with tint: This is when we talk with you to see what you’d like to achieve. If you’re worried about visibility, then we’ll simply go with a less-darker tint so your visibility isn’t affected. During the day, when the sun is out, tint doesn’t really affect that. But at night, that’s when you really see the difference. We have many options for you to choose.
Window tint will bubble in a few years: A majority of the time, when your film starts to bubble or turn purple, it’s because of the quality of the film. Our window tint film has a lifetime warranty that it will not bubble or fade. If your tint starts to peel or lift on the edges, that’s mostly due to the quality of the installation and not so much the film itself.
All window tint is the same: There are vast differences between the types of film. Classic tint, which is simply a dyed-colored film, has no heat rejection capabilities. Once you install it, your car will still get very hot on a summer day. Compare that to ceramic tint, you’ll feel a dramatic difference in how much cooler your interior is on the same type of day.

“By far the absolute best service you will ever receive. The bar has been set! As if the level of detail was not impressive enough, the genuine care and concern are just as well matched. After my amazing service i left in a rush to head in to work. Little did I know that i left my wallet. Actually I never noticed until Baruk called me to inform me a few hours later. Omg he went above and beyond, dropped off my wallet to my leasing office in Mt. Pleasant, texted to let me know mission had been completed and then i just received a text here at 8:20 at night to make sure I received it! I will enthusiastically refer Good As New! It is my mission to use them faithfully and tell everyone I know about them!” – Anika Jones
“They just finished our 2006 Honda Accord and 2012 Honda CR-V and they both look better than new! I paid extra and had the fogged over headlights on the Accord treated and now they are crystal clear. We will be using them again that’s for sure. It was money well spent. Thanks for doing a GREAT job on our cars!” – Zack Jones

Window Tint FAQs
How long does it take to tint my car?
It can take a few hours to a full day. It depends on how big your vehicle is and how many windows there are to tint. Some vehicles will simply take longer due to the window being more complex to install.
Can you remove old or damaged window tint before installing new film?
Yes, this is a step we must do in order to install the new film. This can often add a lot more time to the tint process because the existing tint is very difficult to remove. It can come off in little pieces and leave a bunch of adhesive behind. So before we get to the actual tint process, we first need to remove and clean off the previous tint.

Does window tint affect cell phone or GPS signal?
No, with the type of film we use, you will not have that problem.
What happens if I roll down my windows right after they’ve been tinted?
There’s a possibility that you shift the tint around when you roll your windows. That’s why for the first 48 hours, we ask you to not do that. If this happens and it does shift, you’d have to bring it back in and get the window retinted.
