Professional Paint Protection Film (PPF) Experts in Eugene
Shield your vehicle from rocks chips and scratches with the best form of protection
Eugene's Trusted PPF Specialists
Driving in Eugene can take a toll on your vehicle’s paint. From unpredictable weather and road debris to highway construction and gravel, your car is constantly exposed to potential damage.
Beyond that, everyday encounters like parking lot mishaps, road tar, and bird droppings can compromise your paint’s condition. Plus, with Colorado’s high-altitude sun exposure, your vehicle’s exterior is at even greater risk of fading over time.
To keep your car looking its best, the smartest choice is Paint Protection Film (PPF), also known as a clear bra.
PPF is an 8mm thick clear layer of film that protects your paint from damage. It’s flexible, durable, and provides long-term protection against chips, scratches, and the elements
Depending on the paint condition, some level of paint correction or polishing will be done before installing the PPF.

Why Choose Paint Protection Film?
Durable and Self-Healing: PPF protects your paint from potential damage. As your driving on the highway, instead of a loose debris hitting your paint, it hits the PPF and your paint stays safe. It also has self-healing properties when exposed to heat like the sun. If it gets minor swirls, with a bit of heat the swirls will disappear.
Hydrophobic Properties: Outside elements like the rain, dirt, and grime are easily repelled from the vehicle due to the PPF This makes washing and maintaining your vehicle much easier.
High-Gloss Finish: Not only do you get superior protection, but the PPF itself will also add another layer of shine to your vehicle. After every wash, your car will look in top-notch shape.
Our PPF Installation Process
Installing PPF requires expertise and precision. Here’s how we ensure a flawless application:
Wheel and Tire Cleaning – We start by thoroughly cleaning the wheels, tires, and fender wells.
Gentle Hand Wash – A meticulous wash removes the loose dirt, road tar, and grime from your paint which helps us prep for the next step. As simple as this is, this must be a thorough wash to not allow dirt to get in the way of the film.
Iron Fallout Removal – We use iron decontamination to eliminate embedded iron fallout. When the cleaner makes contact with the iron, it turns purple and starts to dissolve it. This is when you know it’s cleansing the paint.
Clay Bar Treatment – Once we’re done with the iron decontamination, we go into the next step of cleansing the paint and that’s the clay bat treatment. Any embedded contaminants on the paint will be removed with this step. The paint will feel smooth like glass.
Dry The Paint – Using a combination of a high-quality microfiber towel and air blowers, we ensure no moisture remains on the panels or in the nooks and crannies.
Polish The Paint– If needed, we refine the paint to remove swirls, scratches, and other imperfections. This is key because whatever condition the paint is in will be “locked” in once we install the PPF for the next several years.
Install the PPF – Using precision-cut templates, we install the PPF on your chosen areas. Some cares or panels will be much more difficult due to the complexity of the panel or the size of the panel. A flat hood with no vents is much easier than a hood that has a lot of body lines, curvature, and vents to work around.
Final Inspection – Before your car is ready, we double check our work to ensure all edges and surfaces meet our standards.

Already Have PPF on Your Vehicle?
If your vehicle already has paint protection film and you need it removed, we can take care of that. If the film is only a few years old, the removal process is usually straightforward. However, the older and more worn the PPF is—or if the paint underneath already has rock chips—the higher the risk of paint lifting and chipping during the removal.
For example, if the film has been on for a decade and is cracking or yellowing, removal becomes much more challenging. Most of the time, we don’t know how the film was initially installed, what brand was used, or whether the paint had chips before the PPF was applied. All of these factors impact how the removal process will go.
One of the biggest risks is when old, brittle film covers existing rock chips. As we pull the film up, those weak spots in the paint can come up with it. Unfortunately, this is just the reality of removing aged PPF. We’ve dealt with it on vehicles of all makes and models and the risk is always there.
This is why we take our time. Rushing through PPF removal only increases the likelihood of unnecessary damage. Even with a slow, careful approach, some paint chipping may still occur, but we do everything we can to minimize it.
In most cases, any paint chipping is minor. But depending on the car’s condition, the age of the film, and how it was originally installed, larger sections of paint could be affected. That’s why we always inspect your vehicle first and provide a clear, honest assessment before starting.
PPF removal is a tedious and time-consuming job, which is why it comes with an additional cost. We’ve spent up to 20 hours removing extremely old film from vehicles. Depending on the condition of the PPF and the difficulty of removal, pricing can range from $500 to $3,500.

What Areas Should You Protect with Paint Protection Film?
It really depends on what you’d like to get done! There’s no one-size-all approach to this. That’s why we listen to your needs and recommend the best options based on what you’d like to do.
The most common areas for PPF installation we see are:
Front-End Protection – This covers the most vulnerable areas like the hood, bumper, fenders, and side mirrors. But again, front-end protection might mean something different for each person and their vehicle.
Track Package – This includes the entire front-end, the rocker panels, rear quarter panels, and even the roof to protect against road debris and rubber pickup on the track.
Work Vehicle Protection – If you work out in the field and want to protect your truck or SUV, you can PPF the areas that are most susceptible to getting hit or damaged. This will greatly help prolong the life of your paint and keep it in top condition.
Full-Vehicle Protection – This is the ultimate form of protection. You can PPF your entire vehicle from top to bottom and keep your paint in pristine condition for the next ten years.
PPF vs Ceramic Coating: What’s the Difference?
Many car owners wonder whether they should choose PPF or ceramic coating to protect their vehicle. While both offer protection, they serve different purposes.
A ceramic coating is a long-lasting, hydrophobic layer that adds shine and helps repel dirt and water, but it does not protect against rock chips or scratches. This is one of the biggest differences between the two.
Whereas with PPF, this provides a physical barrier against impact damage that causes dents or paint chips. If road debris hits your car, PPF absorbs the impact, preventing damage to the paint beneath. You can’t get this level of protection from a ceramic coating.
For those that want the best of both worlds, we recommend applying a ceramic coating over the PPF. This gives you the durability of film with the easy maintenance and shine of a coating.
